## What the numbers mean

- Rankings are based on `popularity_score`, not the directory API's own `rank` field
  (which just lists things by recency).
- Popularity and trending scores come from the directory. They don't represent installs,
  usage, or revenue.
- Connectors without a score for a given view are simply left out of it.
- Rank movement tracking started when this site launched and can't be backfilled. The monthly
  growth charts are the exception — they use each connector's `added_at` date, so they go
  back to the directory's beginning.
