Directories forget. This leaderboard doesn’t.
A directory only shows the present: today’s scores, today’s order, and nothing from before. AI Marketplaces Leaderboard takes a snapshot once a day and keeps every one, so you can watch a connector climb, a plugin slide, or a category grow — instead of losing it overnight.
What the search box records
Searches are recorded, including what was typed, because what people look for and can’t find is the clearest sign of what a directory is missing. Before anything is sent, your browser throws out anything that looks more like a paste than a search — an address, a link, a token, a long string of digits. A term that’s thrown out is dropped entirely, not shortened: the search still counts, but the text never leaves your browser.
Anything we publish from this — say, a list of what people search for or can’t find — only uses terms that several different people searched for, never something just one person typed.
There are no accounts, no ad trackers, and no profile of you. Your browser does keep an anonymous ID, so one person visiting twice isn’t counted as two people. It isn’t tied to a name, email or account — there aren’t any here to tie it to. Analytics run on PostHog, on servers in the EU.
