Ecobite

Ecobite is a free cooking and food tracking app that shows both sides of every meal: its nutrition and its environmental footprint. Connect your Ecobite account and ask Claude in your own words.

Meal planning: ask for a week of dinners that fit your diet (vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian or everything), your allergies and your cooking time, and Claude plans them in your Track and puts the ingredients on your shopping list.

Recipes: search more than a hundred recipes from Ecobite's cooks and templates, each with a nutrition rating, a footprint rating, calories, protein and CO2 per portion. Claude can save your own version of any recipe (dairy-free, for more people, with a lower footprint) or write a new recipe from your description. Ecobite works out its nutrition and footprint from the ingredients.

Nutrition and food tracking: log meals and foods, then see your trends for a week or a month: calories, protein, carbs, fibre, sugar, salt and saturated fat against your own daily targets, the nutrients you've been getting too little of, and recipes that help.

Food footprint: CO2, land, water and nitrogen for about 1,900 foods, based on Agribalyse, with lower-footprint swaps, a daily CO2 budget and a leaderboard with the people you follow.
