InkToLog helps pilots move a paper logbook into ForeFlight. Share photos of your logbook pages in a Claude conversation and Claude transcribes them; InkToLog then checks each page against the totals written on it.

reconcile_logbook_pages sums every time and landing column on each page and compares it with the written “totals this page” row, checks that the forwarded total plus the page total equals the written total to date, and checks that each page’s forwarded totals match the previous page’s totals to date. It returns only the cells that disagree, so you know which entries to compare against your paper logbook before you rely on the digital copy.

export_foreflight_csv turns the same transcribed pages into a CSV file in ForeFlight’s logbook import layout (an aircraft table and a flights table), with common training aircraft filled in with type code, gear, engine, and category/class. It runs the same totals check first and lists anything that doesn’t balance above the file. It also points out lines worth a second look, such as a date out of sequence.

The tools receive transcribed page data only, never your photos, and don’t store it. Up to 60 pages per reconciliation call and 10 per import file; long logbooks are processed in batches with the carry-forward check continuing between them. The first 3 pages are free; one-time page passes (no subscription) are available on inktolog.com.
