Ask about specific dates and you get what PermitSnag's checks last recorded, with the time of the check. A date that has not been checked comes back as unknown. It is never reported as sold out.
It covers wilderness, backpacking, climbing and river permits in national parks, national forests and state parks, and campgrounds booked on Recreation.gov and on state park systems.
It does not book, pay or enter a lottery. It does not show live inventory, because it reads stored checks and does not call a booking site when you ask. There is no account and no sign-in.
