Weft is the AI task manager for solo founders and small teams. Tell your AI, and it runs your board.
Connect Weft and your assistant works the board with you. It reads the board and tells you what is in progress, what is overdue and what to pick up next. It takes a task, does the work in the conversation, and writes back what it did, so the board stays the record of what happened. You add work by asking for it: one task, a list to import, or a vague wish that the assistant turns into a task with a clear finished state.
What you can do:
- See the board at a glance: columns, the active sprint and its progress, work in progress, overdue tasks and what is next.
- Create, edit, move and complete tasks with priority, estimate, due date and description.
- Plan sprints: create, start and complete them, and add or remove tasks.
- Group work into projects.
- Search and open any task, including finished ones.
- Record the decision behind a task so the reason outlives it.
- Trash and restore tasks. Trashing a task and completing a sprint ask for confirmation first.
The plugin includes a planning skill. It turns a request like "I need a landing page" into a task someone can finish and verify, with a Done-when checklist, and closes tasks on a named result instead of a claim. It covers non-code work such as marketing, hiring and finance as much as code.
Weft only reads and changes the workspace of the account you sign in with. It does not send email, make payments or act outside your board.

Turn a vague request into a task someone can actually finish and verify, put it on the user's Weft board (letsweft.com), and close it with proof. Use whenever work is being captured or planned — "add a task", "put this on my board", "plan this", "break this down", a pasted list of work to import — or when the ask is a wish with no defined finished state, like "I need a landing page", "write the investor update", "redo pricing", "find a contractor". Use again when finishing a task the board is tracking, so it closes on a named artifact instead of a claim. Runs a one-turn interview of at most three questions, often none, then writes a Done-when acceptance checklist instead of a paragraph, picks the single executor, and sizes or splits the work. Covers non-code work — marketing, sales, hiring, finance, personal — as much as code. Works with the Weft MCP server connected, and degrades to a copy-pasteable brief when it is not.
