WoWSQL is a managed PostgreSQL database-as-a-service. This connector lets you work with your WoWSQL account directly from Claude. After you sign in with WoWSQL (OAuth), Claude can list your projects and show their configuration, browse tables in a project's database, run read-only SQL queries to explore and analyse data, and, with your confirmation, run write statements such as creating tables or inserting, updating and deleting rows. It can also search WoWSQL's documentation and open full doc pages so you get accurate, platform-specific answers about the CLI, backups, connection strings and more.
Access is limited to the projects in your own WoWSQL account and the OAuth scopes you approve (mcp:read, mcp:write). Write and destructive SQL runs through the execute_sql tool, which is marked destructive so Claude asks you to confirm. No data is shared with third parties. See https://wowsql.com/privacy.
