Reftab

Connect ChatGPT to your Reftab account to answer questions about your IT assets, software licenses, and loans in plain language. The connection is read-only and signs you in with your own Reftab login, so ChatGPT only sees what your Reftab user can already see.

What you can do:

• Assets: search and filter assets, view one asset and its full checkout history, and audit data quality (missing location, category, serial number, or purchase date, and inactive assets).
• Lifecycle: find aging assets and replacement or retirement candidates, and see what is due for refresh, warranty, lease, or inspection.
• Software licenses: roll up seat utilization and spend, find underused licenses and licenses expiring soon, and spot overlapping applications in the same category.
• Loans and people: see what is checked out and who has what, list overdue loans, and get a per-person view of current loans and reservations for onboarding and offboarding.
• Operations: browse maintenance records, reservations, accessories and stock levels, kits, locations, categories, and custom fields, and see which locations need attention.

Limitations: Reftab for ChatGPT cannot create, change, check in, or delete anything. Make those changes in Reftab. Large lists are returned a page at a time, and very large scans stop at a size limit and say the result is partial. Requires a Reftab account.
