Paperguide is an AI-native platform for scientific research and evidence synthesis. This connector brings your Paperguide reference manager and literature search into Claude.

Literature search. Search 200M+ peer-reviewed papers and preprints from PubMed, arXiv, OpenAlex and Semantic Scholar, then narrow by year, citations, open access or journal quartile to build a literature review search strategy. Look up any paper by DOI or PubMed ID for its abstract, authors, journal, citations and BibTeX entry. Draft reading lists, summaries and literature review sections as cited answers, where every claim links to its source.

Your reference library. Add a paper by DOI or PDF link and it lands in your Paperguide reference manager with its details filled in and the open-access PDF attached; papers you already have are never added twice. Chat with your PDFs: ask what your saved papers say about a question and Claude searches inside their full text with page numbers, or reads a whole paper to summarise it. Create and rename folders and file papers from the chat.

In Paperguide itself, the same library annotates, shares, cites in 1,000+ citation styles, imports from Zotero, Mendeley, BibTeX and RIS, and opens paywalled papers through your institutional proxy. A systematic review runs end to end there: title and abstract screening, full-text screening with a dual-reviewer mode, data extraction with sentence-level evidence, and PRISMA reporting, with every screening decision logged. Research agents handle multi-step searches, and systematic review data extraction exports as a table.
